BROOKINGS, S.D. – South Dakota soybean farmers are invited to attend Soy100, a one-day event focused on providing valuable insights into soybean production, market trends, and agronomic advancements. The event will take place on Thursday, March 27, 2025, at McCrory Gardens in Brookings, S.D.
Kicking off the event, Mitchell, S.D., farmer Bruce Haines will deliver a welcome message, emphasizing the importance of continuous learning in today’s ever-evolving agricultural landscape.
“Soy100 is a great opportunity for farmers to gain fresh perspectives and practical strategies to improve their soybean yields and overall operation,” said Haines. “Whether it’s market trends, agronomy, or disease management, the information shared here is valuable for any grower.”
Throughout the day, experts will cover key topics such as soybean marketing and economics, disease management, weed control strategies, and maximizing yield potential. Farmers will also have the opportunity to participate in breakout sessions tailored to their interests and network with industry professionals.
The South Dakota Soybean Checkoff, SDSU Ag Experiment Station, and SDSU Extension proudly sponsor Soy100. The event will begin at 9:00 a.m., with complimentary coffee and rolls provided by the South Dakota Soybean Research and Promotion Council.
